I was referred to Mr Carrothers for a second opinion on my knee following previous surgery under another doctor that appeared to have failed. Mr Carrothers acted swiftly, diligently and with great care. He managed to fit an emergency surgery into his schedule within 4 days of seeing me. The operation was a success and the information and cars that he gave was second to none.
He is an extraordinary surgeon who has changed mine and my family's life through his swift and brilliantly judged actions.

I have now visited Mr Carrothers three times and on each occasion he demonstrated excellent Doctor /Patient skills. He is positive in his diagnosis and at all times explained the situation in layman's terms ensuring that I fully understood what the next step would be and the likely outcome. He gives you confidence that you are dealing with a professional whilst at the same time maintaining a very friendly and re-assuring manner - something which is sadly lacking in many of the doctors I have seen in the past.

Mr Carrothers is very approachable and put me at ease from the first time I met him. His explanations are clear and is very willing to to listen to any concerns & anxieties.
Since my total hip replacement, I have not had any repercussions of the horrendous pain I had been suffering for two years previous to my operation.
My next visit to see him will be for an operation on my knee, and I have every confidence that all will go as smoothly.
